| | How long will my balloon sculpture last? This is difficult to gauge, as the conditions in which your design is displayed can vary so much. A design used as a toy by a child (or adult!) will obviously not last as long as a sculpture displayed on a desk or dressing table. A display piece situated in a safe area, out of direct sunlight will start to lose its shine after about 4 or 5 days. Then, as the air slowly seeps through its latex skin, your model will shrink little by little, an almost magical experience. After about 3 or 4 weeks your sculpture may have expired, but your memories of it will last forever. |

How will I get my balloon sculpture? Once you have contacted us and talked about your ideas for an event or sculpture, together we will conceive a design that is unique to you. Your design will be made the day before your event, and you can collect it from our premises in Weymouth town, at any time that is convenient to you. Alternatively, we can arrange delivery anywhere in the Weymouth area for an appropriate delivery charge. For our smaller pieces, they can be especially designed to fit standard Royal Mail posting boxes, and after being carefully protected with tissue paper, can be sent with an appropriate message card, by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Your sculpture may look solid, but it is as light as ...........well.........the air it is filled with!

Do you use special balloons? The only thing that is special about out balloons is their strength. They are made of thicker latex than regular balloons, to withstand the rigours of being twisted into the intricate and beautiful sculptures you see here. Our balloons come in 3 different sizes, 1 ", 2" and 3" diameter, which allows us to create sculpture in different sizes.
Do your balloons pop? Eventually, yes........especially if you stick pins in them!
Is there anything you cannot make? The simple answer is No, not really. A general rule of thumb is that if you can imagine it, we can make it.
How far in advance do I have to order my balloon sculpture? For a more complex piece, or a large party order of table decorations, the sooner, the better. We want you to have something super-special, and we take the utmost care to ensure your design will be just perfect for your special occasion. At busy times, such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, please allow at least a week's notice.
| | | | | | How eco-friendly are your balloons? All our balloons are 100% natural latex, produced from the milky sap of the rubber tree. The rubber tree originated in the forests of South America, and is now grown in plantations in many tropical countries. The latex is collected from harmless cuts in the bark of the tree. The use of latex in balloons and other products, such as surgical gloves provides much needed employment and makes the cultivation of rubber trees economically viable as a sustainable source of latex. Latex is a 100% natural product that is compostable and breaks down in both sunlight and water, making it totally biodegradable. Research shows that under similar environmental conditions, latex balloons will break down at about the same rate as a leaf from an oak tree. | | | | | | |
